The owners of Mas Que Farm, a leading equestrian center with first class stables and indoor riding facility on 100 waterfront acres, desired a graciously understated home reflecting casual informality and permanence.

Arriving at the entrance court of the house, it appears as several separate components that look as though they might have been added to each other over time – among them, the main house, a guest wing, a service wing, and a three-car garage. The primary rooms are stretched out across the site, affording every room a view of the water. With an exterior that combines fieldstone and clapboard siding with copper and slate roofs, the building achieves the desired sense of welcoming and comfort, of enduring grace and constancy.
